Our Mission

We would like to introduce the TEEN LIFE CENTER, nicknamed TLC, a project with our youth as its direct recipients. Our mission is to provide the teens in our community with "Something better to do"; a safe place to come to that is free from the alcohol, drugs and violence that may surround them.

To be successful we must offer programs, activities, and services that actively compete for the time and attention of our high school and middle school youth. Boredom, peer and parental pressure, and lack of attractive and enriching choices of leisure time activities have plagued the teenage population for generations. Our Community thirsts for a center which will meet the needs of its teenagers.

We will facilitate activities including after school programs, computer center, dances, game nights, mentorship, job training, skilled trades and other recreational programs, utilizing both trained facilitators as well as volunteers from a variety related agencies and organizations including our own county programs and services available.

Further, we will provide specified group learning in cooperation with the principles of 12 step support programs, to aid the community and its stakeholders in properly addressing at-risk teens, their core-issues and rehabilitation under the trained eye of our experienced instructors. The communities’ participation in the restoration of its youth will benefit not only the young individuals but the locale in which they reside.

We believe in our community, its families and especially, its youth. In conjunction with any excellent program is its supporters; the value of working as a team, utilizing the people, agencies and energy of its location. Foley Foundation looks forward to significantly aiding our youth, and further, their futures of emotional, spiritual, educational and drug-free excellence.

We look forward to making the Teen Life Center (TLC) a successful model for other communities. In hopes to create a better future for our teens, we are asking for your help in funding this project. With your donations we can succeed in helping our teens become a part of our community. We want to build that model of success for us and other cities. Let us be the first to succeed!
